I recently brought my "new" 2010 F-150 Platinum into Lancer Service for a laundry list of maintenance, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. A friend of mine who restores old vehicles and does his own wrenching highly recommended them to me. Lancer is one of only two shops he trusts with his vehicles, and after my visit, I completely understand why. Their communication is top-notch. They send a comprehensive text with detailed explanations of their recommended work, and you can easily review and approve the services right through a link, and you can pay online when your vehicle is. Whether by phone or text, they are super easy to get ahold of. I went in requesting a lot of specific work, and they pulled my Carfax report to verify what mileage-based maintenance was actually due. There were absolutely no high-pressure sales or unnecessary upsells—they only recommended what made sense, and simply alerted me to a few minor things to monitor down the road. The prices are very reasonable. Despite having much better customer reviews than other local independent shops, they actually beat their estimates. If I could give Lancer more than 5 star I would. I've been bringing my vehicles here for 20+ years and they are the best. The ignition was not working in my mini van. I had it towed to a different shop and they mis-diagnosed the issue and provided me a very high quote. I called Chad at Lancer and he said the other shop's diagnosis didn't seem right. He did some research and told me they could fix it for about 1/3 of the cost of the other shop. I towed the van there and the fixed it as they promised. The cost was actually lower than what Chad originally estimated. It's hard to find places that have consistent honest and top notch customer service. Lancer delivers every time. This is my second time coming to Lancer Auto Service, and I really appreciate how honest and upfront they are. The car I brought in this time turned out to be a total bust, and they didn’t try to upsell me or push unnecessary repairs. Instead, they were very real with me and explained that it wasn’t worth fixing compared to the value of the car. They previously helped me get my first car up and running, so I trust their judgment—and this experience just confirmed that. The team is very nice, communicates well, and provides clear, straightforward estimates. I definitely recommend them if you’re looking for honest and reliable service.
